Over time, I have come to realize that I find it difficult to open up to people.
Yh, I am a very lousy talkative and stuff but most times I don't see the need to burden people with whatever is bothering me, maybe one day I would have the patience to figure that out but till then.
Well, one thing I am slowly learning is the therapy opening up gives.
Although almost no one can be trusted nowadays, having one person you can open up to saves you from a lot of mental breakdowns.
Like I said I find it difficult to talk to people about stuff, but when I do, I feel relieved and most times I gain clarity, not from the person, but from listening to myself speak. I tend to realize what I need to do even before the person starts trying to formulate a piece of advice.
Truth is, many times we know what we need to do, but it's until we start talking about the challenges that we realize what we need to do.
Not trying to motivate you to share all your burdens with everyone, but just know that speaking out, can make a difference🤗.
